Your beliefs are the essence of who you are - unique, special, and deeply meaningful. They are the guiding principles that reflect your core values and what you hold most close to you. By identifying and embracing these beliefs, you can connect with your true self, freeing yourself from the expectations and pressures you put on yourself. You can connect with these inner beliefs to gain clarity and reframe what is distracting you outside of you and look within to trust yourself. You will feel confident in yourself and your decisions.

Steps to Connect with Your  Beliefs 

  • Reflect and Identify - Begin by circling the words below that resonate with you. These are the values that stand out and hold significance in your life. Trust your intuition as you do this.

  • Select Your Top 3 - Narrow down your list to the top 3 inner beliefs that speak to you the most. These are non-negotiable - beliefs that MUST be in place for you to feel aligned with your true self. Look up the meaning to see if they truly resonate with you. Close your eyes and feel the word. Does it help you feel aligned and grounded?

  • Bring your beliefs into focus - Write down these 3 inner beliefs on a sticky note or at the top of your page. Below them write out something you have been struggling with or has felt challenging. What would you like more clarity and confidence around?

  • Ask Yourself Which of my Top 3 inner beliefs are being challenged the most by this situation?If I were being true to myself how would I approach it differently?

  • Realign and take action - reflect on what you can do to realign to your inner beliefs. What small steps can you do to reconnect with your truth and feel more at peace?

This exercise will empower you to live authentically, free from the need to please others or conform to external expectations. When you align to your inner beliefs you will be able to navigate challenges with clarity, confidence, and ultimately, raise your emotional well being to feel better and trust what is true for yourself.
